In order to add a scheduled job just call “crontab -e” and add entries to the crontab file. Take a look at this scheduled crontab examples:
0 0 * * * ~/incremental_bck.sh --midnight every day
0 0 * * 1-5 ~/send_happybirthday.sh --midnight every weekday
